In late January 2016, we witnessed a Twitter drama that saw Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha call out four of her colleagues –Uche Jombo, Blessing Egbe, Emem Isong, Ufuoma McDermott and Omoni Oboli– which led to an exchange of words between the actresses.
The actresses, weeks later, met up for a chat and drinks, to smooth things over.
According to Omoni Oboli and Uche Jombo who both spoke to YNaija at the AMVCA 2016 awards, it was all a misunderstanding which has since been settled.
They said: “It was just a misunderstanding. We are okay now.”
Oboli and Jombo also revealed that they have a movie titled Wives on strike coming out in the cinemas in April, which also stars Chioma Akpotha amongst other A-list actors.
