Just In: Lagos Police arrests robbers who attacked Onazi’s home

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the armed robbers who attacked and robbed Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi’s family in their Jos home.

The robbers were apprehended in the Epe area of the state.

The footballer shared the information on his Twitter account.

He said, “The 5 armed robbers that robbed my family home In jos have been apprehended at Epe, Lagos. I really thank God almighty.”

He appreciated the effort of the men of the police for their swift response.

“Officially, I thank the DIG Abuja Mr Joshak Habila, CP Plateau state, AIG and CP Lagos state, and most importantly Mr Victor Ugoh.”

It would be recalled that on Monday the robbers raided the footballer’s home, and beat up his father.
