Let Dasuki go! High court orders DSS to allow former NSA travel abroad

The Department of State Security (DSS) has been ordered by the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to allow former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki travel-out for medical attention.

Prior to this ruling, the ex NSA chieftain had filed a Fundamental Rights Enforcement suit against the Federal Government resulting from the DSS’ refusal to allow him travel on November 4, in spite of a court injunction allowing him to do so.

Justice Ademola Adeniyi, the presiding judge over the case ordered the Attorney General to come before the court on Monday, November 16, to explain why the initially issued court order granting Dasuki permission to travel was disregarded.
