Lost but found (POETRY)

Into an unchartered terrain
Into an unknown land
I wander
I ponder
I hunger

For something familiar
The paths I trod
Have become untraceable
And I am hopelessly lost…

The times cloud my judgement
And the storms erode my trail.
A part of me is lost
In all this turmoil
All my hardwork

Is covered by soil
Buried
Forgotten
Unrecognized
And unclaimed.

The cries of helplessness resound
They dance to their own music
They cover their ears to blot their pain
They shield their eyes
But it’s of no gain

Because despondency is eating away
At the will
The will to live
The will to fight

And alas!
All is lost…
But all could yet be regained
Because what is lost
Can be found
If properly sought…
