Nigerian teen achieves incredible feat, gets accepted by all eight Ivy League schools

Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna, a United States teenager, born to Nigerian parents, has secured admission into all the eight Ivy league universities and four other universities in the USA.

Uwamanzu-Nna graduated as the valedictorian of her class at Elmont High School, long Island.

She was accepted by Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.

As well as Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Speaking on her admission, Uwamanzu-Nna said that: “Though I was born here in America, I visited Nigeria many times.”

“And I’ve seen that my cousins don’t have the same opportunities that I have. So definitely, whatever I do, I want to make sure that it has an impact on Nigeria.”

“I’ve struggled with numerous classes in the past.”

“But I guess what allowed me to be successful… is my persistence and my tenacity.”

Uwamanzu-Nna, who has been invited for a science fair in the White House, hopes to pursue a science major in the school she intends to attend.
