Ogun Customs command records over N900m as revenue for January, February 2017

The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has recorded a sum of N906,684, 498.26 as revenue collected in the first two months of the year 2017 (January and February), the service said in a statement Friday.

The Command also recorded 344 seizures with duty paid value of N219,813,485.00 from 1st January to 26th March, 2017.

The Customs Area Controller in charge of the Command, Compt. Hassan Gangua said despite the daunting economic challenges, the Command has performed impressively in revenue generation and anti-smuggling campaign.

The CAC called on traditional rulers, religious leaders and distinguished personalities in the state to join in the campaign against smuggling for the economic well-being of the Country.
