Following the need to strengthen citizens’ awareness and engagements with policy development and implementation, Paradigm Initiative Nigeria is sponsoring PolicyNG’s first ever engaging competition with the National ICT Policy. This is perfectly in Line with our vision to trigger citizenry that will see the opportunities in objective criticism of policy documents, helping Nigerians rise above the usual passive role.
Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN) is a social enterprise that connects Nigerian youths with ICT-enabled opportunities, working to add huge value to Nigeria’s ICT policy space. This institution has consulted for several international public and private organizations with bottom-up result oriented approach that has led to great achievements. We are pleased to be supported by Paradigm Initiative Nigeria in this exciting journey that will shape the tech-writing skills of many and also enhance our culture of policy checks and balances.
The competition will be engaging young Nigerians aged 15 – 28 with expectations to download and review the Nigeria’s National ICT policy within 1200 (one thousand two hundred) words, making recommendations supported by clear facts on workability or articulating (creatively) new methods with relevant scenarios.
The winnings are N50, 000 (fifty thousand naira only) for the 1st and N20, 000 (twenty thousand naira) for the runner-up.
