PIN for Unreasonable Institute: Donate & spread the word!

by Sola Fasasi

PIN has been announced as the only Nigerian finalist in the 2011 Unreasonable Institute (please see http://yrn.me/ui), and this is big news for a number of reasons. First, they were selected as part of the Top 45 out of over 300 applications from 60 countries. Secondly, the institute helps social entrepreneurs by connecting them with mentors and investors during a 6-week course in Boulder, Colorado.

The next step for PIN is to be one of the first 25 to raise $8,000 via the Unreasonable Marketplace – a place where the popularity, reach and appeal of the project is tested. Unfortunately, the Institute doesn’t allow PIN or any of its partners to pay the $8,000 directly. Instead, the projects will have to raise as much money as possible – with a weekly limit. This week, donations as much as $500 are allowed. You can donate by visiting http://yrn.me/ui.

The management of PIN asks that you please donate and ask other people to visit the project page, watch the video and decide if they think the initiative’s approach can bring much-needed change to Nigeria.

Spread the word and support PIN to get into the Top 25 and to join the Unreasonable Fellowship this summer in Boulder.

  1. This is a nice one I think the board members of this initiative deserve to be applauded.
