Paul Pogba put up a man of the match performance as Manchester United dominated champions Leicester City.
Pogba dictated the pace of the game as he controlled the midfield delivering beautiful passes into open spaces.
United opened the scoring through captain of the day Chris Smalling in the 22nd minute.
Smalling headed in from a Blind corner.
United went on to score three goals in five minutes to end the first half four goals up.
Juan Mata scored in the 37th minute, Rashford made in three in the 40th minute, and Pogba scored the fourth with a towering header off another Blind corner.
Leicester came back into the second half without Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy as they were replaced by Andy King and Demarai Gray.
Gray scored Leicester’s lone goal in the 60th minute.
The champions made attempts to score more but United kept their cool to see off the game 4-1.
