The Police on Thursday raided the Abuja residence of former governor of Gombe state, Senator Danjuma Goje.
The police officers stormed Goje’s Asokoro residence, acting on a tip-off by a whistleblower.
Vanguard reports that the operatives discovered N18 million; $19,000 and 4,000 Saudi Riyal at the end of the search.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has denied that it was part of the raid.
In a series of tweets, the agency said it was not involved in the search on Goje’s house.
