[The Presidential Blog] 7 quick thoughts that crossed our minds as we watched Kemi Adeosun’s Facebook Live chat

Did you know the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun did a Facebook Live chat yesterday afternoon. She took questions from her audience on Facebook and via Twitter about the efforts put in by the Ministry to help revive the economy and we have talked all about it here.

But what we did not say earlier are some of the random thoughts we had as we watched the 23 minute long video. Like:

Of course, she did not disappoint wit the lateness. We know the only reason is that she Nigerian but we’ll take her explanation about it having been caused by “technical” issue.

2. There’s a possibility Mrs Adesoun has a things that allows her qualify her statements with the most unecessary and adjectives and adverbs that just confuse or render her real intentions questionable.

For example, barely 5 minutes in, she said the Ministry of Finance has been “fairly” busy.

Fairly? Like what exactly does fairly busy mean? 9-5 or 10-2pm Lagos State-Ministry-type of busy?

Does it always have to be technical with this woman?

3. She definitely sounds smarter than the average and it’s not just the British accent.

4. We love those red nails mama!

5. Imagine if she ran for President!

6. The ministry staffers must be trying to pull a BBC Live broadcast type of stunt. Or why do they keep walking into the frame?

7. We should all do more of this Facebook Live thing. Thanks Kemi Adeosun!
