Yemi Alade kicks off world tour

Mama Africa, Yemi Alade will be touring major world cities this summer.

Yemi Alade will be performing alongside her OvaSabi band on the Mama Africa tour that will take her from France to the US and Canada.

The Johnny singer arrived Paris for media rounds and autograph signing ahead of her first performance on the Mama Africa tour.

The concert will hold at the Le Trianon on Friday, 7th April.

Ubi Franklin denies signing BBNaija’s Uriel to MMMG

Following speculations that MMMG boss, Ubi Franklin may be planning to sign Big Brother Naija evicted housemate, Uriel Oputa to his label, Franklin has shut down the claims declaring that he has no such plans.

Franklin and Uriel were pictured stepping into Upfront & Personal boss, Paul Okoye’s 50th birthday. Franklin shared the photo with a caption that partly read, “Counting down to the big day” and a number of people assumed it was a pointer to Uriel’s signing with the MMMG label.

 

Mel B accuses estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte of physical abuse and impregnating the nanny

Former Spice Girl and America’s Got Talent judge, Mel B has leveled a new set of accusations against her husband, Stephen Belafonte.

Mel B has requested a restraining order against Belafonte weeks after filing for divorce based on irreconciliable differences. In her submission to the court, Mel cited different instances of physical assault, battery and other forms of abuse in the course of their 10-year marriage.

She recorded that in 2012, when she was taping a “Home Visit” segment with R&B star, Usher for X-Factor, Belafonte allegedly got so jealous and punched her in the face. She said the first time was in 2007 when she was getting for a television interview for Dancing With The Stars, Belafonte allegedly choked her and slammed her down the wood floor of their home.

To cover up for the injuries, he’d force her to tweet that she fell while walking in heels.

Mel B also accused Belafonte of forcing her to partake in threesomes. According to her documentation, he got the nanny pregnant and threatened to keep the pregnancy with all of them living in the house but later made the nanny get an abortion. Mel said he often compared her physical looks to that of the said nanny.

A Los Angeles court granted the restraining order and has barred Belafonte from coming in contact with their three kids.

Belafonte has denied all the allegations adding that he is shocked by them.
