The House of Representatives has decided to probe the suspension of the Director-General of the Kemi Adeosun, Mounir Gwarzo.

Why it matters: The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun suspended Mr Gwarzo over an allegation of financial impropriety levelled against him.

The Head of Media Division, Abdulsalam Naif, and Head of Legal Department Anastasia Braimoh were also suspended.

Now happening: While this is on, lawmakers want both parties to “maintain the status quo” pending the outcome of the probe.
