Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt won gold in the men’s 200m athletics event.
Bolt who ran a time of 19.78 seconds beat Canadian Andre De Grasse and Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre to second and third respectively.
Bolt has now won the 100m and 200m in three consecutive Olympics and is set to add the 4*100m gold to his laurels.
The USA still top the medal standings with a total of 100 medals while Great Britain is a distant third with 56 medals.
