#RioOlympics2016: Bahamian Miller wins women’s 400m, Kenya gets another medal

Bahamian Sprinter, Shaunae Miller on Monday won the Women’s 400m final after completing the race in a time of 49:44s. Coming second place behind her was American, Allyson Felix who finished in 49:51s, climing the silver medals while Shericka Jackson from Jamaica came third after finishing the race in 49:85s.

In the Men’s 800m final, Kenyan David Rudisha grabbed gold after finishing in 1:42.15, Taoufik Makhloufi from Algeria came second running the race in 1:42.61 and American Clayton Murphy settling for Bronze.

On the medals table, USA still leads with a total of 75 medals- 26 gold, 23 silver and 26 bronze. Britain in second place with 41 medals.
