Former Governor of Plateau state, Solomon Lar has passed away.

According to reports, the death of Chief Lar was confirmed by the state governor, Jonah Jang to newsmen.

The governor said, Chief Lar, who was 80-years-old reportedly died in the United States of America

The pioneer national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party had been battling an undisclosed ailment for some months before he was flown to U.S for treatment.
