Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Aishah Ahmed, Abimbola Adebakin others speak at SME100 Women’s conference (PHOTOS)

Recognizing the growing strength of the female economy and the important role women play in the development of the African continent, SME 100 Nigeria presented the 2015 executive conference for women. Over 250 Small and medium female entrepreneur were in attendance. The conference held in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria.
 
The SME 100 Women’s conference aimed at building the capacity of female entrepreneurs in Nigeria as well as providing an opportunity for networking and forging timeless business ties that would facilitate the realization of each attendee’s specific business objectives. According to the Executive Director of SME100 Nigeria, Charles Odii. 50% of SME owners in Nigeria are Women.
As a result Female SME owners are seeking more sophisticated methods of formulating strategy, engaging customers and providing value. The SME 100 Woman event meets the entrepreneur at this point
 
At the Event 25 Enterprising Females under 25 were honored. Also a series of panel sessions with some of the foremost thought leaders in the area of SME development was held to provide relevant guidance for the entrepreneurs present on how to drive growth and build sustainable businesses. The discourse was themed around the Female Economy and endless opportunities.
 
Speakers at the Event included Sen Oluremi Tinubu (Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria), Mimi Ade-odiachi (CEO Omar Gardens), Aishah Ahmed (Chairperson Wimbiz),  Abimbola Adebakin (COO, Tony Elumelu Foundation), Adesuwa Onyenokwe (Publisher Today’s Woman Magazine), Nozipho Sibanda ( Finance Director, Dimension Data), Toke Makinwa (OAP), Kikelomo Fola- Ogunniya (Co-founder Jand2Gidi), Abimbola Balogun (Cofounder, So Fresh) amongst others.
