Uber successful pop duo P-square, heartthrob-Wizkid and rapper- Ice Prince, lead the pack of performers that will headline the finals of the planned Amstel Malta Show Time. The event is billed for the 18th of November at the upscale Harbour Points Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Singer, Darey Art Alade has landed the gig to anchor the show which would also feature comic skits by ‘I Go Dye.’

Undergraduates will also have an opportunity to showcase their talents in singing, dancing and comedy competition. The best act in each category would have an opportunity to perform on stage with the star acts headlining the event.

Amstel Malta Show Time is a talent hunt platform conceived with the dual aim of discovering fresh talents nationwide as well as communicating the Amstel brand theme “Being the Best you can Be’’.

Speaking on the event, Mrs Adedoyin Owotomo, brand manager, Amstel Malta Nigerian Breweries Plc said it has been a wonderful debut year for Amstel Malta Showtime. “We have witnessed a harvest of talents in singing, dancing and comedy competitions. What we are trying to do is to give the youths a chance to be the best that they can be,’’ she said.

Registration to participate in the competition has kicked off at the University of Lagos, Yaba College of Technology and Lagos State Polytechnic Isolo. Auditions to select contestants will hold from 14-16 November at the Renaissance Hotel Ikeja.

Previous auditions were held in Owerri, Enugu and Abuja.
