As the voter registration progress has begun, some young people have complained of hiccups in the process.
It is important to understand that these hiccups are only natural due to the hurried preparation by the electoral commission; so usually it is a matter of logistics rather than a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise the youth.
We must ensure that we are not frustrated by the process, making a little sacrifice to have our names registered before leaving.
This is a short guideline on how the scanner should be used.
1. The scanner should not be operated under direct sunlight.
2. Tap your fingers on the scanner, do not hold it down for long.
3. Ensure scanner is green.
As much as you can, please assist the corpers rather than scolding them. More information and clarification will be provided as events unfold Let’s make this work!
