Faisal Hakeem a.k.a Paedae Da Pralem and Rashid Mugeez a.k.a MugeezXMugeez, known together as the hiplife act, R2Bees, are not unfamiliar to Nigerians. They collaborated with our very own Wande Coal on the massive hit single, ‘Kiss My Hand’. More recently, the Ghanaian duo was featured on the remix of rapper Lynxxx’s life-changing track, ‘Change Ur Parade’. The act’s name was coined from the phrase, ‘Refuse To Be Broke’ and it releases music on its own independent record label, R2Bees Entertainment.
‘Many Girls’, the latest offering from R2Bees, is a dancehall banger replete with provocative ragga lyrics knit together by a thumping beat crafted by Ghanaian producer, Possigee. Guaranteed to light-up any party, ‘Many Girls’ pays homage to West Africa’s music capital with references to the world-famous Lasgidi lurking within the song’s chorus. This one is definitely worth several listens.
