Nigerian music stars Tems, Asake, Burna Boy, and Rema have each received nominations in the upcoming 2024 Billboard Music Awards.

The same singers had been nominated for the 2025 Grammys, excluding Ayra Starr, who had a busy year in the entertainment industry.

The Billboard Music Awards has Tyla competing with Nigerian singers in several categories.

Michelle Buteau will host the 2024 Billboard Music Awards on December 12 and will air on Fox and Paramount+.
