The Future Enterprise Support Scheme (TFESS) in partnership with Comic Republic will host a one-day Comic Illustration workshop to teach aspiring creators/artists on how to create African superhero comic books.
Do you see yourself working in the visual arts industry and want the chance to meet with like-minded students and develop your craft? This is for you.
This workshop is an introduction to comics and use of photoshop. Participants will be taught about what it takes to be a good artist, illustrate and colour, referencing right, how to promote the comic book business to a global audience and how you can make a career in this field.
It will be an interactive session with practical session where each participant will have hands on exercises with the brains behind some of the best comic illustrations.
Curriculum include: How to illustrate; Crafting of a good story or what makes a good story; How to colour illustrations using Photoshop.
There will be lunch, live session with the artiste, networking and more.
