That’s for stealing from Fashola’s PA: 5 suspects arrested by police

Five suspects, including a tailor, Ahmed Abdulkareen have reportedly been arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad Ikeja, Lagos, for allegedly stealing from the personal assistant to Lagos State Governor on information and Strategy, Lateef Raji.

The suspects were said to have robbed at his residence on November 13. The case was reported to the police and later transferred to the SARS unit for further investigation.

Abdulkareem, a tailor in the Shogunle area of Lagos was said to have provided information to the robbery gang leader,
Jimoh Momoh, who he said was his customer.

According to him: “I have known Momoh for a while; we attended the same secondary school at Oshodi and he is also a customer. I was also aware that he was into robbery. Some weeks ago, Momoh came to my shop and I complained to him of being broke. He told me to alert him of any suitable victim in my area so he could help me out financially.”

Investigation is ongoing in the robbery case.
