Maybach Music boss, Rick Ross threw his fans and associates into a big scare after he experienced a brief heart seizure aboard a Memphis, Tennessee bound flight today, Friday October 14, 2011. According to reports from popular celebrity gossip news website, TMZ.com, the self-proclaimed Teflon Don, fell unconscious minutes after his flight departed from Fort Lauderdale in Florida, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing so as to avail the 2010 MTV Africa Music Awards’ headliner proper medical attention. He was scheduled to perform at a FedExForum in Memphis.
MTV.com is however reporting that the rapper is doing fine and close associates have confirmed he is presently in a stable condition.
“Several members of Ross’ Maybach Music Group camp have confirmed with MTV News that Rozay is doing better now. None would confirm that the rapper had suffered a seizure, however, saying only that he was good,” an MTV.com report reads.
DC rapper with Nigerian roots, Wale who is currently signed to Ross’ Maybach imprint, has confirmed that the BMF rapper is in good condition over his verified twitter handle.
“I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok…@tmz #dontpanic #dontpanic #mmg !!!! #gfid dec 13th!,” the fast rising rapper tweeted.
Rick Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II, was born on January 28, 1976.
Rozay has confirmed he will still be playing the Memphis gig from his Twitter handle @rickyrozay. He tweeted “
#Memphis here I come… ” with a video link of himself in a landed airplane that is believed to be Memphis bound.
