The Church of Sweden; an Evangelical Lutheran national church in Sweden has taken a move to refer to God as gender neutral and stop using ‘the Lord’ or ‘Him’ when making reference to God. According to Peter Imanuelsen, Swedish freelance journalist, Instead of saying “our Father” they said on BBC that they will say “our Father & Mother”.
The Church of Sweden will now treat God as gender neutral and stop calling him "Lord and "Him".
Instead of saying "our Father" they said on BBC that they will say "our Father & Mother"
Literaly what on earth are they thinking?
Jesus told us pray "Our FATHER that art in heaven"

That’s the problem with a LOT of Church’s, they don’t care what Jesus said. His teachings don’t fit in with their self-serving ways these days. A BIG problem in America! https://t.co/lXCx7kFKsq

I don't even understand why God's gender should be a matter of debate. How's God's gender important in the scheme of things and does God's gender change word or his will?!

Some languages aren’t exactly gendered and that’s already being said so??????

This is absurd. Political correctness is why we have so much problem in the world today.

The good Lord can indeed be everything and more to us but that doesn't mean you guys should be blasphemous! There's already a prayer pattern in the Bible taught by Jesus himself!

Lol, you can’t talk for God. Calling Him “our mother and father” isn’t anything bad and new. God is the Creator of the universe and He’s the Alpha and Omega. He’s our heavenly mother and father as well

The soon we realise that a lot of people are having mental and psychological issues instead of branding it PC, the better.

Nice one Church of Sweden. Glad to know I'm not the only one thinking along these lines. https://t.co/izKPU3ifFp

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3, NIV)

Weird but since god doesn’t exist I’m more worried that they believe in fairytales.
