2019 was a very strong year for Nollywood, and especially for Niyi Akinmolayan of Anthill Studios, the producer who released films like Elevator Baby and the critically acclaimed The Set Up. The latter film was a proper game changer, for its superior cinematography, its plot driven story telling and the reinvention of Kehinde Bankole as a proper action hero. Not everyone got to enjoy the groundbreaking work from Akinmolayan (The Set Up was only in cinemas for a few weeks) and because of the lock down, Nigerian film studios are ramping up their plans to get their best sellers on streaming platforms.

Niyi Akinmolayan‘s 2019 blockbuster “The Set Up”  is finally coming to streaming via Netflix. Ffor a refresher, here’s the trailer.

“The Set Up” is a movie directed by Niyi Akinmolayan and produced by Inkblot Productions in collaboration with Filmone Distribution and Anakle Films. It stars Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jim Iyke, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Tina Mba, Joke Silva, Kehinde Bankole, Ayoola Ayoola, Marie Humbert, Damilare Kuku, Wendy Lawal, and Uzor Arukwe.
