There’s more to the Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye gist and it just got juicier

Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye

If there is one thing that many can agree to, it’s the fact that the truth will always, find its way out in the end and when that does, Nigerians will always be ready to say one or two things as it concerns the matter. Nigerians on Twitter have reacted in diverse ways to the Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye story after the contract between her, and Music Executive surfaced on the internet.

The reactions flooded in as Peter Okoye (Mr. P) also shared some reasons he stopped working with his elder brother, Jude. Soon after Jude Okoye released copies of the contract between the dancehall singer and his record label, Northside Entertainment, some Twitter users were of the opinion that Cynthia Morgan had lied about the content of the contract.

According to the terms of the contract, which the music executive released earlier, it was revealed that Cynthia Morgan and Northside Music had a 50/50 sharing formula, and it was not stated that she cannot use her name to do music anywhere else. However, Peter Okoye’s comment on the whole issue has got fans thinking twice about their stance.

Peter Okoye, however, shared that his brother, Jude Okoye’s intention for Cynthia may have been genuine if she had been patient, but his post also hinted the possibility that there was some level of a toxic relationship between Jude Okoye and those he managed as he shared that one of the reasons he left was for his freedom.

Now while many are now dragging Cynthia Morgan, they have tagged her actions as derogatory and sets women far back as they also compared her contract with that of many other artists that have had issues with their managers in the past. Many were of the opinion that Cynthia’s deal was far better than May D who was also signed to the same record label.

In an Instagram Live session, however, Cynthia Morgan expressed that she should have sued Jude Okoye but she somehow believed that the music executive had her best interest in mind. The singer also used some very strong words to describe her former manager, Joy.

While all these artists (Cynthia Morgan and May D)  have successfully dragged Jude Okoye, the music executive has said that their claims are not true as he has always provided some level of proof to back his claims. With Cynthia, he shared copies of the contract which may have exonerated him.
