This is business: Janet Jackson to receive $500 million if marriage to billionaire fiance ends in divorce (PHOTO)

It appears as though Janet Jackson’s fiancé is taking the risky “all or nothing” approach to love. After meeting his “dream woman” in summer 2010, billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana has decided to make her his wife. The couple is currently engaged, and were initially slated to wed on New Year’s Eve; however, pre-nup terms by Al Mana’s attorneys were still underway to protect his wealth, so the wedding was postponed until spring 2013. Becoming impatient with the pre-nup terms, 37-year-old Al Mana allegedly wrote an agreement stating a payout of $500 million if he and Janet split after a five-year marriage.

Of course, Janet isn’t starving for cash. According to Celebrity Networth, the youngest Jackson singer is worth an estimated $150 million, but we’re sure she’ll enjoy an extra $850 million acquired from her husband’s fortune. And although most couples don’t anticipate a divorce at the time of marriage, we’re sure she’ll be able to afford therapy to get over the relationship with an extra $500 million in her pocket. The couple seems to be very much into one another. Twice married Janet told Harper’s Bazaar in the November 2012 issue that she and Al Mana have a “deep connection.”

I’m getting older and I feel more settled. We have a deep bond, a deep connection,” she said. Al Mana told the magazine “I’m fortunate enough to be dating my dream woman.” These two nearly seem to be a product of “love at first sight.” When the couple took a trip to Sardinia in summer 2010, an eyewitness gave an account of their interaction to US Weekly.

They were fairly inconspicuous,” the eyewitness said at the time. “Just like any of the other dozens of couples at the hotel. She hung onto his arm when they walked through the lobby in the morning and he kissed her on the head after lunch. They seemed very tender with each other.” Sources close to Al Mana — who goes by the nickname “Sam” — knew he was falling fast as early as that July.

Sam’s well-known on the VIP scene in Dubai, but he’s not a playboy, he’s a good man,” the source told US Weekly. “If he’s traveling with Janet then it’s serious. He’s rarely had serious relationships so publicly. …He’s just a man of religion and morals.”
