TICKER: After stinging debate loss, US Republicans spread nasty rumour that Obama sold cocaine in Harvard

Donal Trump told the hosts of Fox & Friends on Monday that he has some dirt on President Obama which he plans to release before wednesday.

“Something very, very big concerning the president of the United States,” Trump said. “It’s going to be very big. I know one thing — you will cover it in a very big fashion.”

All of the right wing is now abuzz with speculation  about what Trump is going to release, and many on the right have begun to openly spread the rumor that Trump is going to make the salacious accusation that President Obama sold cocaine while he was in college.

According to gossip blog Radar Online, a man claiming to be a close friend to Obama tried to sell the Romney campaign the story of how Obama sold cocaine in college, but they declined. That’s when, according to sources, Trump picked the story up.

Donald Trump’s teams denies this charge and says that the bombshell they’re planning to release on President Obama has nothing to do with cocaine.

“Mr. Trump’s announcement is substantially more important to the American people than these allegations made against the president,” Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump, told right wing rag The Daily Caller.

You have to wonder though, if Romney is as strong a candidate as Republicans say he is, why are right wingers trying to dig  up dirt on Obama in an effort to give Romney extra help? Can’t Romney fight this battle on his own? Is lying, cheating, and stealing all that the right wing knows how to do?
