This week, Alicia Keys mentioned her son Egypt as a possible cameo subject in her next album. She joked that even though her son only knows a couple of words, she is going to consider putting him on the album along with her.
“He might need a cameo, you know what I mean? He might…He may need to say a couple words. There’s one song in particular called ‘When It’s All Over’ that he may need a little feature on. So we’ll see.”
Alicia’s new album, “Girl on Fire” is set to be released on November 27th. The title track is called “Girl on Fire,” which will get its debut at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in September. Keys was asked during the interview if her son and Blue Ivy Carter might to a song together one day. She simply replied that they both “have a good future.”
Here’s a little factoid about Alicia that might impress you. Alicia graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City and was the school’s valedictorian. Not bad.
By the way, her name is not really Alicia Keys, that’s her stage name. Her real name is Alicia Augello Cook.
