It was a night of fun, performances and social networking as friends and celebrities from Twitter gathered at Twiterave for the 3rd time since idea was launched in June, 2010. This edition took place at Tribeca bar and club, Vitoria Island on Saturday, April 30.

Guests from the entertainment industry such as Freeze of Cool FM, Olisa Adibua, artistes such as Kel, YQ, Pope, Chuddy K, Eva, talented producer Sossick and many more arrived on the Blue Carpet from 9.30pm and featured guests. Other notable guests were Adebola Williams of the Future Awards, Toolz of Beat 99.9 and artiste Funbi.

Hosted by Kore Brown and @Waltz_Inc, Twiterave 3 featured performances from Kel, SlimT, Sukiyai & Tasti, Pope and other artistes.

The informal awards session honoured tweeps such as  @Olorisupergal, who won the award for the most creative enterprise; @tundefashola, that was acknowledged for the best political use of twitter; @donjazzymohits, who as usual was Nigeria’s favourite celebrity on Twitter amongst others.

Twiterave is Nigeria’s first twitter party and awards event that takes place quarterly bringing together young people from the Twitter social network.  The next edition – Twiterave 4 will hold in July, 2011 at Ember Creek in Ikoyi.
