The Urban and Regional Planning undergraduate of the University of Lagos is one of those tweeters that get regularly retweeted and tweeted at. Wale is blunt, witty and can be very irreverent especially when he gets into those infamous twitter fights.

How did you get on twitter?
I had actually opened a twitter account out of boredom. But I didn’t start tweeting until last year June when I heard that it was now the ‘in-thing’. So I decided to feel among.. Hehe!
Who would you say is your favourite tweep?
I don’t have a favorite tweep. I like lots of them. Anytime I’m asked to recommend ,I don’t even know who to choose.

There are too any tweets I can’t forget. But I can’t get anyone in my head right now
Have you had any embarrassing/memorable experience on twitter? If yes, what happened?
Yah! When @DrewBaba tweeted something about a female artiste and also called her a b***h. I was taking sides with him and people really fired us that day.
What are the downsides of being on twitter?
There are a lot of people who tweet shit at you just to get your attention. You have to learn how to ignore some mentions anyway.
What are the upsides?
Getting laughs and information for free. It also improves your social life too.

I dumped Facebook for twitter. I am still chilling for what will make me dump twitter.

Nice article! So many people say Wale is arrogant and controversial, but I disagree. I just think he's someone who says what's on his mind. And I think that's the very essence of social media like Twitter: to express oneself without fear or favour. So, whatever the odds, Wale is one of those few people who bring life to my TL.
