UNIPORT was lit, up next UNN! Closeup Cool Breeze campus party continues with Reekado Banks, DJ Altims

Closeup Cool Breeze hosted the biggest campus party in UNIPORT as Reekado Banks, DJ Altims and other upcoming artistes shut down the Rivers state capital to provide students with the ultimate music experience. The event was held on November 10, 2017, at the UNIPORT School Gymnasium.

Guests at the highly anticipated party were treated to an evening of fine music, lots of amazing prizes and breathtaking performances by finalists of the #CoolLikeThat challenge, a music competition organised by Closeup Cool Breeze to discover the next music star from the Garden City.

Apart from the prize of an iPhone 7, the winner also got an opportunity to perform with Mavin superstar Reekado Banks at the grand finale of the #CoolLikeThat in Lagos.

Speaking at the event, Closeup Brand Manager, George Umoh said “Closeup as a brand believes in the youth and possibilities, hence the brand gives you the confidence to act on your desire to be physically close, be the next big music superstar, rap artiste, fashion designer, entrepreneur etc. This is why we have organised the #CoolLikeThat parties across different cities to give an opportunity to young talented people to showcase their music skills to the world.

“We are also using these events to introduce the new Closeup Cool Breeze toothpaste, which has been specially formulated with antibacterial mouthwash formula, calcium fluoride and peppermint to address the major oral care issues – bad breath, tooth decay and weak tooth,” he added.

The crowd couldn’t hide their excitement as they sang along with the ‘katapot’ crooner Reekado Banks as he serenaded the students with hit tracks such as Move, Easy (Jeje), Ladies and Gentlemen Problem, among others. Participants also walked home with cool prizes like iPhone 7, Beat by Dre headphones, branded shirts and other amazing prizes.

The next campus party is at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) on Friday, 17 November as Closeup Cool Breeze prepares to give participants an unforgettable experience.
