On Wednesday, 21 December popular Nigerian musicians turned up at the Maximum Prison, Kirikiri Apapa to perform in a Christmas concert for inmates and prison staff.
The star line-up included musicians like Dj Zeez, Solidstar, Sammie Okposo, Eva, Irap, Korede Bello, African China, Chidinma, Mike. Hakym. Comedians like Akpororo, Jedi, Mc Bonus and CrazyLegs were also there, while Jafextra hosted the show. It meant for a few hours inmates could forget where they were and just dance, laugh and take photos like everyone else.
Xmas In Prison Concert was organised by Lambginny and Yaw of Wazobia FM.
