A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, on Monday, ruled that the removal of Ali Modu Sheriff as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in order.

In his ruling, the presiding judge, Justice‎ Mohammed Liman, said that the removal of Sheriff by the PDP national convention was legal and justified.
