DSS transfers Dasuki to EFCC

Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki, has been transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Dasuki was arrested on Tuesday by operatives of the Department of State Security Service (DSS).

Premium Times reports that a source at the commission revealed that EFCC requested the transfer of Dasuki so he could be interrogated by its team in relation to how $2.2 billion meant for arms procurement was diverted through his office for political purposes.

“He was just brought in and a crack team of investigators are already getting ready to question him,” the source said.
