Rapper Kanye West has cancelled his concert after his wife Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her hotel room in Paris, E! News reports.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening in Kim’s hotel room when two men dressed as policemen held her hostage.

According to Kim’s spokesperson, she is ” badly shaken but physically unharmed”.

“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.

“She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

Kanye West who was performing at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens left the stage abruptly citing a “family emergency”.

The venue later posted on social media with the message, “Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.”
