Presidential anti-corruption adviser caught cheating during exams

Benedicta Daudu, a member of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption, was allegedly caught in the act of examination malpractice at the University of Jos.

According to Premium Times, Daudu, an associate professor of law and head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law in UNIJOS, was on May 4, caught cheating during her Master’s degree examination in the course – Global Context in Public Policy.

Daudu, who already has a Masters degree in Law, is working towards another degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences of the same university.

The associate professor was accused of sneaking-in prepared answers during the exam.

According to the report, the university authorities was alleged to have attempted to cover up the examination malpractice.

The presidential Advisory committee on corruption, which Daudu is a member, was established by the Presidency to investigate and advise the federal government on cases of corruption.

It is headed by Professor Itse Sagay and its members are majorly academics.
