The news today has been rather dreary, so it’s wonderful to hear something that lifts our spirits.
It is the story of Shettima Kyeari Ali, a student of ABU Zaria, who chose to make a drone for his final year project, and then decided to dedicate it to the honour of the girls kidnapped by the Boko Haram Islamic sect in Chibok, Borno state. How sweet is that?
An ABU physics student made a drone as his final year project and named it 'Hope For Chibok Girls'. ??? @Shetteemah pic.twitter.com/NGyEAFGiOi

We need a tech village in this country where talented people can go and be doing all these things

Talents in this country can compete with the best anywhere but lack of opportunity is the main problem

First, we applaud the geeks in Nigeria, who despite the limitations of the environment go ahead to prove that great things can come, and indeed do come out of Nigeria. Kudos to Shettima for being true to the #BringBackOurGirls movement in his own way. We wish you success in your defence.
