When the troubled parents of the 18-month-old child decided to rob a victim, they were not planning on ending up in a police chase, rolling the vehicle and flinging their child out of the car through a backseat window—but that is exactly what happened.

The entire terrifying sequence of the chase, which took place in Lubbock, Texas, was caught on the camera inside the police car. The driver was the toddler’s 17-year-old father, and 16-year-old mother, who had earlier robbed a 19-year-old woman in a parking lot close by. There were two other teenagers in the car who ran off but were later caught.

Thankfully, the child remained relatively unharmed with only minor injuries and was given in to the care of other relatives.
