- A Naija Christmas (2021)
Directed by Kunle Afolayan and written by Kemi Adesoye, the film tells the story of an older woman who dreams of seeing her sons wedded and bearing grandchildren before she meets her demise. Determined to get her wish, she promises to give her Ikoyi house to the first child who weds. The film stars Rachael Oniga, Abayomi Alvin, Kunle Remi, Efa Iwara, Segilola Ogidan, Linda Osifo, and Ade Laoye.
- Christmas in Miami (2021)
Directed by Robert Peters and produced by Ay Makun, ‘Christmas in Miami’ is the fourth instalment in the Akpos film franchise, released after ‘30 Days in Atlanta’, ‘A Trip to Jamaica,’ and ‘10 Days in Sun City. The film follows the life of Akpos, who travels to Miami, Florida, with his family to represent Nigeria at the International Christmas Fiesta. The film stars Ay Makun, John Amos, Osita Iheme, Kent Morita, Nadya Marie, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Catherine Olsen, and Ik Ogbonna.
- Merry Men: Another Mission (2019)
Directed by Moses Inwang and written by Anthony Kehinde Joseph, the film focuses on the four men who quit robbing the rich to give to the poor and grow their businesses and new found riches. However, their plans do not go as planned, and they’re forced back into the game to rescue a beloved. The film stars Damilola Adegbite, Alex Asogwa, Regina Daniels, Ramsey Nouah, Falz, Nancy Isime, Jim Iyke, Ay Makun, and Linda Osifo.
- This is Lagos (2023)
Starring Kate Henshaw, Jesse Jagz, Mike Afolarin, Gabriel Afolayan, Rahama Sadau, Jibril Homsuk, Ikechukwu Onunaku, and Enyinna Nwigwe, the film depicts crime and survival in Lagos as Stevo, a young man strives to make it in Lagos. In this city, everyone and everything is not what they seem.
- A Tribe Called Judah (2023)
Directed by Adeoluwa Owu and Funke Akindele and produced by The Funke Akindele Network (FAAN), “A Tribe Called Judah,” the film tells the story of a woman and her five sons who would go through any length to save their mother from dying. It stars Funke Akindele, Genoveva Umeh, Nse Ikpe Etim, Nosa Rex, Timini Egbuson, Olumide Oworu, Fathia Balogun, and Yvonne Jegede.
- Namaste Wahala (2020)
Written, directed, and produced by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, the romcom, a collaboration between Bollywood and Nollywood, sees a banker and a lawyer fall in love despite their cultural differences. Their families protest their relationship, threatening their love, but they struggle to keep it. “Namaste Wahala” stars Rulaan Mumtaz, Osas Ighodaro, Ini Dima-Okojie, Ibrahim Suleiman, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Sujata Sehgal, Broda Shaggi, and Joke Silva.
- Everybody Loves Jenifa (2024)
Directed by Funke Akindele and Tunde Olaoye, the film sheds light on Jenifa’s popularity, which fades when a new neighbour, Lobster, outshines her charity work. Jenifa and her friends in Ghana also face a deadly drug lord after a bag of drugs is accidentally found in their rental. The film will see a plethora of A-list actors like Nancy Isime, Stan Nze, Bisola Aiyeola, Patience Ozokwor, Chimezie Imo, Jackie Appiah, Folarin Falana, and Isaac Olayiwola (Layi Wasabi).
- Christmas in Lagos (2024)
Directed by Jadesola Osiberu, “Christmas in Lagos” sees Fiyin, a lady healing from heartbreak during the festive season, realise that her long-time best friend, Elo, might be the one she was meant to be with. Still, things do not always happen as we want, and she soon discovers that her best friend wants to propose to his girlfriend. Actors in “Christmas in Lagos” are Rayxia Ojo, Waje, Wale Ojo, Richard Mofe Damijo, Shaffy Bello, Shalom Obiago, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr, Adekunle Gold, and Teniola Aladese.
- The Waiter (2024)
“The Waiter” is an action-themed movie in which a waiter unexpectedly finds himself in the middle of a hotel invasion, and chaos ensues. The film features several Nollywood film stars like Deyemi Okanlawon, Brain Jotter, Regina Daniels, Toke Makinwa, William Uchemba, Shaffy Bello, and many more.
- Alakada! Bad and Boujee (2024)
“Alakada! Bad and Boujee,” a sequel to the famous Alakada franchise, will return to the cinemas on December 20. The film will star many A-list faces in the entertainment industry, including Odunlade Adekola, Broda Shaggi, Bimbo Ademoye, Bimbo Akintola, and more.
