Police officers in Katsina have arrested a gang of robbers in the state with one of the suspects said to be a 12-year-old boy.
The members of the gang were apprehended by the security officers following a tip off from a vigilant indigenes.
News of the arrest was disclosed by the spokesperson of the state police command.
The Nation reports:
Police spokesman Aminu Sadiq said some good Samaritans in Tudun Matawalle quarters gave us a lead.
“We mobilised our men to the scene; arrested the suspects, including a 12-year-old boy and recovered two knives, four hacksaws, one axe, one local pistol and one toy gun as well as a laptop computer.”
