On Tuesday, 11 November, after attending a special church programme with her three children, the mother locked them up in the apartment, went out, and a fire started, which consumed all the three kids.
The incident reportedly occured in the Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos state.
According to SDK’s blog, the pastor of the church where they attended the service, had laid hands on them, praying that they would avert any evil coming their way.
After returning from the programme, the mother lit candles, locked the children in the apartment and went out at about 9pm.
As expected, the children, aged 10-years, 7-years and a 6 month-old baby, slept off and a fire broke out in the apartment.
The children, having been locked inside, could not escape, and as such, got burnt to death in the fire.
