We reported earlier in the week that Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti underwent an emergency surgery.

Although the cause of the emergency surgery is yet to be known, his return to the stage might take a while longer after manager of The Afrikan Shine released a statement that the award winning star would be out for a couple of weeks.

Femi has been discharged from the hospital and is currently recuperating at home.

Funke, his ex-wife and mother of his son Made, shared a video clip of Femi leaving the hospital.
