From flaunting wads of cash in exquisite hotel rooms to hopping on hover board and getting arrested, these Nigerian ‘kids at heart’ celebrities really have to make ‘growing up’ one of their new year resolutions.

1. Burna Boy

Contrary to what Burna Boy may believe, no one hates him neither is the music industry deliberately antagonistic to him.

In 2016, Burna Boy’s career could do without the incessant rants, controversial pictures and the ‘I don’t need anyone’ attitude.

This artiste needs to make efforts at getting his act together and growing up, in the New Year.

2. Cynthia Morgan

A blunt and a baby. Two words that should never ever have existed in a statement- existed, thanks to Cynthia Morgan.

This ‘bad gyal’ persona must stop. Dear Cynthia Morgan, you’re not Nigeria’s Rihanna.

Grow up. Perhaps, you can rest the nose ring and red hair. The point has been made.

3. Kcee

In 2016, Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo also known as Kcee, should tone down the luxury life show-off on social media- like an artiste that’s only just made it big and wants the world to be aware.

Also, Kcee needs to get a stylist. A proper stylist.

For Pete’s sake Kcee, start dressing and acting your age.

4. Harry Songz

Mr Reggae and Blues has had a pretty decent year.

Having repeatedly flaunted wads of cash, it’s a no-brainer that Harrysongz’ bank account got fatter in 2015.

We thank God for this major breakthrough in brother Songz’ ministry but in 2016, we could do without the hotel room cash-flaunting pictures.

That’s for kids, Songz. Not grown men.

5. Shina Rambo

Can someone advise Shina ‘Rambo’ Adeleke to get a different career other than singing?

Dude needs to know it’s about time he stopped wasting that Adeleke fortune.

Many are called but few are chosen, and Shina Rambo doesn’t appear to belong to any of these categories, in the music industry.

It takes age, maturity and sometimes wisdom, to have the capacity to accept reality, hence, Shina Rambo may have to grow up in 2016 and recognise the writing on the wall.

6. Davido

Yes, we know you have made so much money this year and you are a walking bank, sometimes.

Although there is no offence in sharing testimonies of God’s blessings in your life, however we feel you should take it down a notch.

Also, the social media meltdowns, dirty laundry airing, and other public shenanigans should abate in 2016.

You’re a father now, son!

7. Peter Okoye

Peter of Psquare should have grown up in 2015.

We expected it, prayed for it but it never happened. Alas, not all prayers are immediately answered.

Peter Okoye should put a lid on the unguarded utterances and unnecessary Instagram posts that has the potential of embarrassing his wife, Lola Omotayo and himself.
