President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday arrived Akure, Ondo State capital for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship rally in the state.
Buhari was received at the airport by the state governor, Olusegun Mimiko.
The President arrived with Minister of Information and Culture; Lai Mohammed, Governor Umar Tanko Almakura of Nasarawa State and his Kano State counterpart; Abdullahi Ganduje.
Minister of Solid Mineral Development; Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and a Senator representing Ondo Central at the upper legislative chamber, Tayo Alasoadura were also at the airport to welcome the President.
Others were former Ondo deputy governor of Ondo State; Alhaji Alli Olanusi and a former chairman of APC in the state, Isaac Kekemeke.
