The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Oyegun has said President Muhammadu Buhari is recovering strong.
In an interview with Channels TV on Thursday, Oyegun discredited a statement by Fayose, stating that Buhari was on life support.
Oyegun described Buhari’s illness as unfortunate.
He said, “The reports we have are very good, it is a most unfortunate thing.
“No one wishes that on himself or on a nation. But he is recovering very strongly.
On claims that Buhari was life support, Oyegun said Nigerians should disregard Fayose.
He added, “It’s the governor of Ekiti State, when he talks you just discount it and move on.”
Fayose had said Mrs Aisha Buhari, was not allowed to see her husband during her last visit to the UK.
“Only three Nigerians who are of the President’s cabal are allowed access to the President. I will keep their identities for now,” he said.
