A former senator from Katsina, Kanti Bello is dead, TheCable reports.

According to the news medium, Mohammed Isa, one of Bello’s former aides confirmed his death.

Bello reportedly died in his Abuja residence about 4 am this morning.

Bello represented Katsina north senatorial between 2003 and 2011.
