Al-Shabab co-founder donates blood to victims of bomb attack

One of the founders of militant group, Al-Shabab, Mukhtar Robow has donated blood to victims of the truck bombing in Mogadishu, capital of Somalia.

What happened:

  • At least 276 people were killed, while 300 got injured in the attack.
  • Robow became al-Shabab’s official spokesman and a deputy leader.
  • He later surrendered to the Somali government in 2013.
  • On 13 August 2017, he turned himself over to authorities in Hudur.

What is happening:

In a tweet on Monday, Robow was seen trying to save some survivors by giving out his blood.
