Alao-Akala wants to come back in 2015… Oyo will you welcome him?

Former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, has made known his intention to contest for the state’s 2015 gubernatorial election.

Alao-Akala, who announced this yesterday in Ibadan, said that he would publicly declare his intentions at a forum billed for the Watershed Events Centre in the state capital, on Thursday.

The governorship aspirant, who is from Ogbomoso, will be running on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and has said that he would hold a procession with his supporters round the capital on Thursday morning before moving to the venue.

Alao-Akala was the deputy governor of Oyo state in 2003 and later became the governor of the state between 2007 and 2011.

  2. Personally, I do welcome him,he was d only guy I went out to vote for since I turned 18 and could vote! cus I BELIEVE in his policies. Though he lost out to Ajimobi.He is a model of “A man of d people” I shall go out and cast my vote for him again and again.
